[I am a Scottish teenager who hates haggis and does not have ginger hair. I have brown curly hair that is extremely unruly and seems to think it has to always be covering my face. I have a nose that is too long to match the rest of my face and teeth that are wonky but don't need braces. I can't click my fingers, whistle or find my heartbeat with a stethascope in Physics. You can read my face like a book at times, and you may not even want to look at my face on other days. People call me cute. I write my essays in pink biro and Bill Shakespeare is my homeboy]

The Joys a Skirt Can Bring: A Fashion Fix

About a month and a half ago, my need for a new school skirt became extremely dire, so my mum escorted me to Topshop to see what we could find as my Red Herring one was looking a bit worse for wear. We came across a flannel tulip shaped skirt, priced a £35,a little expensive you might think for a school skirt. But when I am up against the people sporting Warehouse and Dorothy Perkins, it is very normal to have a little of expense on your bottom half. But this became more than a school skirt. I have taken to wearing my Red Herring one at school sometimes again so I don't look unhygienic when I wear the Topshop one at the weekend.

Shirt: M&S (do not buy them, they are hideous!)
Tank top: Topshop

T-shirt (long sleeves) and cardigan: Uniqlo
Scarf: Oasis

I love that skirt,
and have not so fond memories of competing with school uniforms!
